The Alcohol aBSTinence And braIN (ABSTAIN) Lab, led by Dr. Hagar Hallihan, focuses on using relevant and innovative effective integrated behavioral intervention to improve treatment efficacy and better understand the neural mechanism of treatment for young adults with Alcohol Use Disorder. Our lab uses functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and self-report measures to advance our understanding of the neural mechanism underlying the susceptibility to alcohol addiction.
